Magic: The Gathering players can grab a piece of MagicCon from home starting today. Festival in a Box: Atlanta 2026 goes on sale Monday, October 19, 2026, at 9 a.m. PT on MagicSecretLair.com, priced at $249.99 with a limit of two per customer while supplies last.
The headline is the first wide release of Mystery Booster Commander Edition. The set was announced in Amsterdam and premiered in Indianapolis, and Festival in a Box: Atlanta 2026 is the first chance to buy a full box of it. Each box holds 24 twenty-card boosters built for Commander: three commons or uncommons of each color, a reprint wildcard, a reprinted rare or mythic commander, a new-to-Magic commander, a Future Sight frame card, and a playtest card.
The bundle also includes Secret Gallery: Atlanta Foil Edition, four foil cards illustrated by Atlanta artists: Parallax Tide, Regrowth, Viridian Revel, and Assassin’s Trophy. Four promo cards round out the box: full-art, textless foil versions of Dance of the Dead, Tana, the Bloodsower, and Tymna the Weaver, plus Auspicious Aquarium, a playtest card designed and illustrated by head designer Mark Rosewater.
This is a limited drop with no print-to-demand window, so once stock runs out, the remaining way to get a box is at MagicCon Atlanta itself, where limited quantities will be sold at the event store each day. MagicCon Atlanta runs November 13 to 15, 2026.
The Atlanta box follows the recent Reality Fracture Secret Lair drops, and it lands in a busy stretch for Magic news, with Star Trek previews beginning October 20. With no second sale window planned, Commander draft fans should set an alarm: this is currently the only way to get a full Mystery Booster Commander Edition box.
