How does the Gothic Endgame work?
Every new pledge, add-on or upgrade resets a 10 minute countdown, and the campaign ends only after a full 10 minutes pass with no new pledge. THQ Nordic explained the system in its Endgame update on the campaign page: even a single €2 Sleeper Mask fridge magnet resets the clock to 10 minutes. As of the check above, backers had extended the campaign by 9 hours and 24 minutes thanks to 547 backers, and €40,854 of the total had come in during the extended time alone. What do backers get for keeping it alive?
Each hour of overtime unlocks a bonus for backers, and the first four hourly rewards are already won. The four hour reward, an Old Shepherd Armor set for Lester and a new enemy group called The Undead, is now unlocked.

THQ Nordic’s Grand Finale update, posted today, also adds digital bonuses for all backers, including Print and Play PDF solo adventures promised by Monday, February 15, 2027 at the latest, a Meatbug Sticker GIF and the Rice Lord comic.

Pledges run from €80 for the standard Campfire Edition to €249 for the All-In Edition, and every tier shows an estimated delivery of September 2027.

When does the campaign actually end?
It ends when the countdown finally runs out, which no one can schedule: it takes 10 quiet minutes with no pledge, add-on or upgrade. The total has already passed 12 times the €75,000 goal, all 27 stretch goals are unlocked, and the game will not be sold at retail, so the Endgame is the last chance to back it.
