Riot Games launches Riftbound Radiance today, Friday, October 23, 2026, in English, French and Chinese, with nine new Legends and three new keywords for the League of Legends trading card game.

When does Riftbound Radiance release?
It releases today, Friday, October 23, 2026, in English, French and Chinese. Pre-Rift prerelease events ran at local game stores from October 16 to October 22, 2026, and players who signed up got a copy of Heimerdinger, Academy Instructor while supplies lasted. Radiance is the second Riftbound story on our site today: Riot also revealed four limited Riftbound bundles for 2026 in a separate announcement.
What new mechanics does Radiance add?
Radiance adds three new keywords: Deploy, Show Off and Disarm. It also adds Equipment Units, which can become Units through Orianna’s Legend effect, and a new Bomb token.

What products are in the Radiance lineup?
The lineup has four products: a Booster Display, Seraphine vs. Evelynn Showdown Decks, a Vault and Pre-Rift Kits for stores. Riot Games lists the full Seraphine and Evelynn preconstructed decklists in the official overview.

What is the chase card in Radiance?
The chase is the set’s Ultimate Rare, the second Ultimate Rare in Riftbound and, according to Riot Games, its rarest yet. It is the game’s first showcase Battlefield printed as an Ultimate Rare, and Riot Games says an Ultimate Rare appears in approximately 0.025 percent of booster packs on average across the print run. The set’s showcase treatments include K/DA Special Alt Art cards for the music theme, Heartsteel Overnumber cards with artist signatures and musically inspired Alt Art Runes. It is a big release week for trading card games in general: Star Wars: Unlimited won Game of the Year at the TCG Awards at SPIEL Essen, and the Pokémon TCG Deck Crafter’s Collection also launched today.
When does Radiance organized play start?
Summoner Skirmish events begin running on Monday, November 9, 2026, with a second window beginning Monday, December 14, 2026. Nexus Night promo packs at local game stores are also being updated with new cards from Radiance, including the chase card Lulu, Whimsical.
