The safest gift for a Magic: The Gathering player is gear they use every game: sleeves, a good deck box, and a playmat, and the best fun gift is a Secret Lair drop or a Commander precon. This guide lists nine gifts at real prices, from a $12.49 pack of sleeves to a ready-to-play deck, and Tap Draw Roll will swap in local store links as the season goes on.

What if I do not know what they play?
Buy the gift card. Every Magic player has a singles list they are slowly finishing, and a card to their local game store or favorite online shop always lands. Pair it with a pack of Dragon Shields so there is something to unwrap.
