What is in the remaster?

Arkham Horror Remastered is a recreation of Arkham Horror 2nd Edition, the cooperative horror board game first released in 2005. One to eight players are investigators in Arkham, Massachusetts in 1926, closing dimensional gates before an Ancient One awakens. Fantasy Flight Games says nearly every piece of art has been updated and the rulebook has been rewritten for clarity, while the gameplay is unchanged. The base game includes 16 investigators, and the campaign adds a new crowdfunding exclusive investigator every day to every pledge that includes the base game. Our launch preview of Arkham Horror Remastered covered the remaster plan ahead of the campaign.
