Which cards changed in Classic Constructed?
One card was banned and three entries were unbanned in Classic Constructed. Traverse the Universe is the banned card, while Entwine Lightning and both Orb-Weaver Spinneret entries return.
| Format | Card | Change |
|---|---|---|
| Classic Constructed | Traverse the Universe | Banned |
| Classic Constructed | Entwine Lightning | Unbanned |
| Classic Constructed | Orb-Weaver Spinneret (Blue) | Unbanned |
| Classic Constructed | Orb-Weaver Spinneret (Yellow) | Unbanned |
Legend Story Studios said all heroes capable of fusing Entwine Lightning have attained Living Legend status, so the card returns safely. Orb-Weaver Spinneret still has potential wielders, but none as effective as Arakni, Marionette, and the studio warned it could return to the banned list if unrestricted Graphene Chelicera access becomes a problem.
Traverse the Universe sits at a power level only appropriate for the Living Legend format. The studio said it does not want to revisit the Mystic talent under the weight of Traverse the Universe.
What changed in Silver Age?
Absorb in Aether is unbanned in Silver Age, effective Monday, October 26, 2026. It is the only change listed for the format in this announcement.
Is Ripple Away banned?
No. Legend Story Studios said it is carefully reviewing the legality of Ripple Away, citing its growing ubiquity in the current metagame and in future design, but it made no change in this announcement. Players should therefore treat Ripple Away as legal for now.
