What is the Re-Animator story?
The Re-Animator story is a prewritten scenario that puts players in the role of medical students who have discovered a serum that can reanimate dead bodies. Paizo calls it the first in a planned line of Licensed 13 Omens Stories, and it is officially licensed from the 1985 film Re-Animator, directed by Stuart Gordon and based on H. P. Lovecraft’s Herbert West stories.
Paizo announced the license in a campaign update, saying its behind the scenes schemes had paid off. EN World reports the story is the first in the planned licensed line, and TechRaptor notes that outside forces in the scenario want the serum for themselves while the students struggle to keep their revived creations in line.
How do backers get the Re-Animator story?
Backers at several All-In tiers get the story automatically, and everyone else can add it to their pledge. Paizo confirmed the story is already included in the Digital All-In, Gaming All-In, Core All-In, Exclusive Play Experience and Executive Producer tiers, and that it is also available as an add-on in the campaign and in the pledge manager after the campaign ends.
