When does Carcassonne Labyrinth release?

It releases into retail in December 2026, according to ICv2. Neither publisher has announced a specific day in December. Ravensburger lists the game at 29.99 pounds on its UK store, where it is currently shown as out of stock ahead of release.

How does it play?

Players shift the labyrinth by pushing tiles into the maze, opening paths to treasures, and then use the tiles pushed out of the labyrinth to build cities and roads in their own Carcassonne landscape. Ravensburger describes it as a standalone game, not a simple combination of the two classics: every turn you draw a landscape tile and insert it into the labyrinth, move your meeple toward the treasure shown on your card, and add discovered tiles to your personal landscape to extend roads and complete cities. The player who moves most cleverly through the maze and builds most skillfully wins.

Detail What Ravensburger lists

Ravensburger notes that Labyrinth has been thrilling families for 40 years and Carcassonne has been an international hit for 25 years, and the crossover is built for fans of both. It is one of several classic brands returning to shelves this season, alongside Mechs vs. Minions hitting US retail in November and the Class of ’89 yearbook game hitting retail on November 20.

How much does it cost?

It costs $39.99 in the US, according to ICv2, and 29.99 pounds in the UK, according to Ravensburger’s own store listing. The game is listed under article number 25176, with copyright held by Hans im Gluck.
