| Core Constructed | My Adventure Book |

All Disney Lorcana tournaments and competitive events at Ravensburger Game Hub stores using Core Constructed will no longer accept deck lists that include My Adventure Book. Our Lorcana rotation and ban list tracker explains how the formats and their legal sets work.
Why was My Adventure Book banned?
Ravensburger said My Adventure Book gave too much consistency to decks that play very few characters, or in some cases no characters at all. Play Design Manager Alyson Erb wrote that the item promoted a strategy built almost entirely on items and actions, moving too far from the fun, dynamic play the team wants, with character cards at the heart of the game. Erb said the decision followed community feedback and a look at the decks using the card, whose play patterns can be frustrating, repetitive, or un-interactive even when the decks are not the strongest in the field.
Why was Bend to My Will banned in Format Coconut?
Lead Game Designer Lukas Litzsinger said Bend to My Will grinds Format Coconut games to a halt, leaving every other player to top deck after their plans are wiped out at once. Format Coconut is a social multiplayer format played to 25 lore, so the card is far more likely to appear there than in a head-to-head game, and it lengthens games. The ban applies only to Format Coconut, and no other Coconut cards are a concern right now. New players can learn the game in our Disney Lorcana beginner guide.
What should players do now?
Core Constructed players should remove My Adventure Book from their deck lists before their next tournament or Game Hub event, because the ban is already in effect. Format Coconut players should take Bend to My Will out of their Coconut decks, while the card stays legal in other formats. Ravensburger said it will keep watching Format Coconut and act again if the fun of the format is threatened. Upcoming sets are listed in our Disney Lorcana release calendar.
