When will the new format be revealed?
The new format will be revealed on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at 1 PM CDT. Fantasy Flight Games lists the stream in its FFG Live schedule for November 2026, published on the publisher site this week, alongside Icons 2027 Edition coverage.
What has Fantasy Flight Games confirmed so far?
Fantasy Flight Games has confirmed only that the format is brand new and multiplayer. The announcement says the team will walk through the rules, explain how the format works, and sit down for a full game to show it all in action. The publisher has not yet announced the format name, its player count, or its deck construction rules, so those details are unconfirmed until the stream.
How does this fit with the existing formats?
Star Wars: Unlimited already has a multiplayer format, Twin Suns, alongside its main Premier constructed format and its draft and sealed limited formats. Fantasy Flight Games has not said whether the new format replaces Twin Suns or sits alongside it. Tap Draw Roll recently covered Star Wars: Unlimited winning TCG Awards Game of the Year.

The same schedule lists an Icons 2027 Premier gameplay stream on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, a Meta Check-In on Monday, November 9, 2026, and an all day Icons 2027 Edition release stream on Friday, November 20, 2026, the set release day. The multiplayer reveal sits two days before that release, on Wednesday, November 18, 2026.
